About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Contracts Manager to join our dynamic team in Crawley. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the financial and commercial interests of L3Harris are optimized throughout the contract lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance on contractual matters, analyzing customer requests for proposals (RFPs) and tenders to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Draft, negotiate, and manage a wide range of contracts, including customer agreements and subcontractor arrangements.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks associated with contracts, proactively addressing potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including engineering, program management, and legal teams, to ensure seamless contract execution.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of relevant international laws and regulations governing contractual agreements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding contractual matters, fostering positive relationships and resolving inquiries promptly.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Proven track record in contract negotiation and management within a commercial environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess contractual risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial contract management.
