Asset Building Surveyor Opportunity

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to join our team in the Oxford area. This is a permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor to develop their career and business acumen while taking on new challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct condition surveys and prepare reports for various purposes
  • Take accurate particulars on site
  • Develop specifications and schedules of work
  • Provide design information to support CAD technicians in preparing drawing packages
  • Prepare budget costs
  • Submit planning and building control applications
  • Prepare documentation under CDM2015
  • Attend meetings and interim site inspections
  • Assist with party wall matters
Requirements
  • Technical knowledge and competence
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • An attention to detail
  • An ability to work independently with support from senior management
  • A logical and practical mind
  • The ability to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Negotiation, presentation, and report writing skills
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to add maximum value to clients' businesses
  • Good IT skills
  • A driving license
  • A reasonable level of fitness and mobility is required
