Building Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and environmentally conscious graduate building surveyor to join our Oxford-based team. As a graduate building surveyor, you will have the opportunity to work on projects that prioritize sustainability and green building practices. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting thorough building surveys and inspections to identify potential issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Providing technical advice to clients on building maintenance and repair, ensuring that solutions are cost-effective and meet their needs.
  • Preparing detailed reports and specifications to support project delivery and client communication.
  • Managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborating with other professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality projects that meet the needs of our clients.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline, demonstrating a strong foundation in building surveying principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality work and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • A desire to learn and grow in the field of building surveying, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
