We Are Kenny is seeking a highly skilled Public Relations and Content Officer to join our team. As a key member of our communications department, you will be responsible for providing a broad range of public relations related support to enhance our reputation and deliver against our vision and mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Press and PR: Operate and manage the day-to-day press office activities, handling reactive enquiries, providing up-to-date statements, comments, and quotes, and managing and filtering through relevant requests for interviews and comment to appropriate personnel.
  • Content Creation: Coordinate, liaise with colleagues, and prepare editorial content required for bimonthly digital communications, undertake bi-annual reviews of E-News, and plan, coordinate, and copywrite/edit the quarterly digital publication of the healthcare professional publication.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in relevant fields, ideally in health, not-for-profit, or purpose brands, with outstanding writing skills, a good understanding of news generation, news agendas, and how to pitch a story, and demonstrable experience of knowing how traditional, digital, and social media landscapes can be leveraged as earned channels for an organisation's comms outputs.
  • Articulate and confident communicator who is able to present and adapt information using the most appropriate medium and style, able to work quickly and accurately, and under pressure, and adapting and responding to change.
