Residential Home Director

Compass Associates is seeking an experienced Residential Home Director to lead our newly built Residential Service in the Swansea region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring high-quality care and support for residents.

The ideal candidate will have a QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent qualification, along with experience as a Manager within a Residential setting looking after adults. Strong knowledge of compliance and a background of working with Adult Learning Disabilities and Autism are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage the Residential Service to ensure high-quality care and support for residents.
  • Ensure accurate records and reports are maintained as required by regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and external agencies.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure efficient use of funds.
  • Participate in on-call requirements depending on the needs of the service.

Estimated Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 per annum. The location is in the Neath Area, easily accessible from various locations.
