Care and Support Team Member

We are recruiting for a Support Worker for Young People to join our children's residential service in Neath Port Talbot. The successful candidate will have experience working with vulnerable young people and will be able to provide a safe and supportive environment for them to thrive.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position with a competitive salary of £28,407 - £32,007 (inclusive of sleeps) per annum, plus benefits including a bonus scheme, free meals, and access to discounts for shopping outlets, restaurants, and cinemas.
Responsibilities- Encourage young people to participate in activities and take responsibility for their own lives.
- Manage challenging behaviors when needed.
- Provide support for the children and young people in the home and promote their independence and well-being.
- Maintain a safe environment for young people.
- Experience working with vulnerable young people.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- NVQ or QCF level 3 in Children & Young People is desirable.
