Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in supporting a young non-verbal gentleman with autism. The successful candidate will work as part of a 2:1 support team, providing 24-hour care and support in his own property.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality support to the individual, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Develop and implement detailed care plans and risk assessments, working closely with the individual's clinicians and support team.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities, ensuring expertise in autism support and PBS approaches.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with autism or learning disabilities, ideally in a support worker or care assistant role.
  • Current Right to Work in the UK and at least 6 months' employment history in the UK.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including days and nights, to meet the needs of the individual.
