Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and independent Collections and Network Driver to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to our customers across the region.
About the Role
As a Collections and Network Driver, you will be the face of Royal Mail Group, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our customers receive their mail and parcels on time. You will be responsible for checking post-boxes, visiting post offices, and delivering mail and parcels to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels to customers across the region
- Check post-boxes and ensure that mail and parcels are collected and delivered on time
- Visit post offices and deliver mail and parcels to customers
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points. You will also need to be able to work flexible shift patterns, including weekends and bank holidays.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.54p/hr, plus overtime at 1.25x the normal hourly rate. You will also receive 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata), and a contributory pension scheme. We also offer lots of opportunity to develop a career and full uniform provided if you're on a contract of longer than three months.
