About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at Clifford James Consultants Limited. As a Data Analyst, you will play a vital role in analysing data to support decision-making processes and ensure efficient operations within our company.

The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, be able to analyse data, identify patterns, and extract actionable insights and information from multiple sources. They will also be an excellent communicator, able to translate technical information to decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide data-driven solutions
  • Transform raw data from multiple sources through cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure accuracy
  • Query data using advanced tools and techniques
  • Build reports and dashboards to visualise data insights
  • Gather and input data into databases and spreadsheets
  • Utilise advanced analytical tools and techniques to interpret data and generate relevant and insightful reports
  • Identify inefficiencies and errors, and recommend and develop process improvements
  • Document technical processes and workflows
Requirements
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to extract, interpret, and explain complex information from a variety of data sources
  • General IT literacy, including experience with using Excel and other Microsoft products
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools and techniques
  • A reliable and determined mindset, with a thorough approach to tackling problems
  • Ability to engage with individuals with different interests in the intelligence being sought
Desirable Skills
  • Competent in using SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets
  • Experience with data automation and enhancement
  • Experience with data visualisation and process mapping
