Glasgow, Glasgow City, United Kingdom NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde Full time

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is a leading healthcare organisation in the UK, employing thousands of staff across various clinical and non-clinical professions. We provide comprehensive acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health care services to a large population.

This is a permanent part-time position working 22.2 hours per week with flexible shifts. The role requires a degree or diploma in physiotherapy and current HCPC registration as a physiotherapist.

The post will be based at the Parkhead Hub for two days a week, with one of those days being Thursday. A day in secondary care can be negotiated.

We are seeking a highly skilled pain management physiotherapist to join our team. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with patients who suffer from chronic pain, providing expert advice and guidance to help them manage their condition.

Our Pain Management Programme (PMP) is a psychology-led, group-based intervention that supports individuals to develop strategies to live well with chronic pain. You will have postgraduate experience in a relevant outpatient or long-term condition service, ideally with experience of working with patients who suffer from chronic pain or other long-term conditions.

As a specialist pain management physiotherapist, you will be responsible for developing and delivering person-centred care, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient outcomes. You will also contribute to service development and quality improvement projects, fostering relationships across the Scottish AHP Pain Network.

Salary: £54,000 - £67,000 per annum, depending on experience. Pro rata for part-time staff. Benefits include access to training and development opportunities, a pension scheme, and a range of employee discounts.

Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of psychologically informed, person-centred care, with experience of working in a multidisciplinary team environment. You will be motivated by service development and have a forward-thinking approach to pain physiotherapy services delivery.
