Job Title: Highly Specialist Dietitian

Job Summary:

Cygnet is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dietitian to join our team in Crewe. As a Specialist Dietitian, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide specialist advice on oral and alternative feeding regimes, managing a range of complex presentations including nutrition support, weight management, and disordered eating.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a full Dietetic assessment of individuals' needs, resulting in an individualized Dietetic plan.
  • Work in close collaboration with the catering team and wider multidisciplinary team to provide specialist advice on oral and alternative feeding regimes.
  • Manage a range of complex presentations, including nutrition support, weight management, and disordered eating.
  • Develop and implement individualized Dietetic plans, taking into account the needs and goals of each service user.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to service users.

Requirements:

  • Registration with HCPC (Health Care Professions Council) and membership of the BDA (British Dietetic Association).
  • Experience within a Band 6 role.
  • Experience in the field of mental health and personality disorders, evidenced by sound clinical knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Enthusiasm, motivation, and passion for working in a mental health setting.
