Speech and Language Therapist for Children with Autism and Communication Needs

About the Role
Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic and supportive team in Bexley. As a Specialist Therapist, you will work with children and young people with Autism and social communication differences, providing assessment, advice, and interventions to support their development.
Main Responsibilities
As a member of our integrated Joint Communication Team, you will work closely with other therapists, assistants, and advisory teachers to provide universal, targeted, and specialist provision. You will see children in mainstream schools and Specialist Resourced Provisions for ASD, working to deliver Education, Health, and Care Plan provision.
Requirements
We are looking for a therapist with experience working with children with social communication differences and Autism. You will have at least 18 months' experience as a qualified Speech and Language Therapist and be a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists. You will also have evidence of attending relevant training post-qualification and be committed to ongoing professional development.
