We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Analyst to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our lending objectives by providing insightful analytics around our credit risk exposures.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain credit risk models and scorecards to support operational decisions.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of mortgage data from internal and external sources to inform lending activities.
- Present analysis and models to credit and risk committees for approval.
- Produce information for the Board, Risk Committee, and external parties on our credit risk exposures.
- Monitor scorecards and models to ensure they are performing within tolerances.
- Carry out ad-hoc credit risk analysis and report writing as required.
- Support the evolution of our Data Mart by identifying requirements and participating in the development and testing process.
- Identify and manage risk within the area of responsibility.
- Highly numerate and analytical with a strong understanding of data mining and statistical software.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to tailor messaging to suit the audience.
- Highly organised with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prioritise tasks where required.
