Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Specialist to join our team in Hong Kong.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with mechanical engineers and other stakeholders to develop innovative solutions for advanced manufacturing processes.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing industrial automation systems, including electrical and mechanical design, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement industrial automation systems.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers and other stakeholders on overall specifications and integration requirements.
  • Develop and improve current sub-system module designs.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and design safety systems and test procedures.
  • Produce drawings and supporting documentation for electrical and mechanical design.
  • Compile documentation for and assess CE compliance.
  • Provide standards, instruction and supervision to build team engineers and outsourced suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in industrial automation, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Salary and Benefits:
  • A competitive salary of approximately $100,000 - $130,000 per annum, based on experience.
