About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Social Value Strategist. As a key member of our Responsible Business team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our social value strategy, ensuring that our business operations and projects have a positive impact on our communities and the environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social value strategy that aligns with our business objectives and values.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that social value considerations are integrated into business operations and projects.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including suppliers and community groups, to build relationships and identify opportunities for social value creation.
- Develop and maintain a robust measurement and reporting framework to track and evaluate social value performance.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to teams across the organization to ensure that social value is embedded in all aspects of our business.
Requirements
- Significant experience in a similar role, preferably in a utilities or energy sector company.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing social value strategies and initiatives.
- Strong understanding of social value principles and practices, including Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
