Job Title: Senior Product Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Designer to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services. As a Senior Product Designer, you will be responsible for owning broader parts of the projects you work on, covering strategy, visual, and experience elements of the product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing unique, feasible, and consumable product solutions that deliver added value to our existing customers, new customers, and end-users.
  • Cutting-edge, proactive product innovation.
  • 'Can-do' attitude that always delivers on time and to the highest quality.
  • Leading concept design across a variety of project types spanning web, mobile, and device.
  • Participating in and leading both team and client workshop sessions.
  • Gaining client and stakeholder buy-in to your ideas through effective presentation and engagement.
  • Working with technologists to ensure effectiveness and feasibility of your designs.
  • Managing and mentoring the more junior members of the design team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior design position within an agency or product business.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • Strong conceptual and design skills.
  • Excellent understanding of design fundamentals (type, space, form).
  • Expert understanding of Figma.
  • A strong opinion and the ability to sell your vision to clients.
  • Experience designing from customer insight and iterating from data.
  • A passion for emerging technologies, devices, and digital products with a focus on user-centric design.
  • A team player that loves collaborating with clients and colleagues.
  • Experience using prototypes to iterate, optimise, and validate your designs through user testing.
  • Working knowledge of production processes i.e., how work is realised from idea through to finished app/website/video/etc.
