About the Role

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant - SEND to provide educational support to a Year 10 student in the St Helens area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and understanding of SEN, particularly ADHD and visual impairment.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 1:1 support to the student, developing and implementing individualized learning plans, and collaborating with the student's teachers and other professionals to ensure consistent support.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • ">
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent">
  • Have experience working with students with Special Educational Needs">
  • Hold a valid enhanced child barred list DBS certificate or be willing to process a new application">
  • Be able to commit to regular hours and maintain confidentiality">
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills">
