Job Summary: We are seeking a Pressure Systems Safety Engineer to join our team at Antony James Recruitment Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional to take on a challenging role that requires strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of pressurised systems by conducting regular inspections and assessments. They will work closely with clients and other departments to ensure the timely completion of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and assess the condition of pressurised piping and associated equipment, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement procedures for conducting regular inspections and assessments.
  • Work closely with clients and other departments to ensure the timely completion of work.
  • Conduct NDT (UT, MPI, DPI) inspections when required, in line with legal and company standards.
  • Review and update relevant registers and documentation.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members.

About You:

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar inspection role. The successful candidate will have a strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to coordinate and prioritise work efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar inspection role.
  • In-depth understanding and working knowledge of the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 (PSSR).
  • UKAS RG2 Category 3 certification.
  • PCN Level 2 qualifications in UT (3.1 & 3.2), MPI, and DPI (desirable).
  • IRATA Rope Access certification at L1, L2, or L3.
  • ASME Level 1 Plant Inspector and/or API 570 certification.

Location: Onshore

Salary Range: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience
