This esteemed care home delivers exceptional residential care for individuals requiring assistance with daily tasks, skilled nursing care for those with complex medical needs, and respite care to give family members or friends a much-needed break.

**To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**

About the Role

As Deputy/Clinical Lead Nurse, your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of nursing staff to ensure delivery of outstanding standards of care
  • Promoting independence and dignity while enhancing the lives of individuals in our care
  • Supporting the implementation of improvements while driving quality standards to further enhance efficiency in line with CQC guidelines
  • Maintaining a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for all residents, employees, and visitors to the Home
  • Supporting the Home Manager and taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Home

The following skills and experience would be highly beneficial for the role:

  • Experience of managing a team, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place to enable smooth, efficient running of the home
  • Experienced in quality and clinical governance programs, including audit and care services
  • Experienced in producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, with an understanding of regulatory frameworks
  • Able to maintain accurate documentation and resident records while incorporating modern technology
  • Confident in overseeing all aspects of medicine management on your shift in accordance with company policies and current legislation
  • Able to support, guide, teach, and mentor others in line with the NMC Code, adhering to its guidance at all times
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality care and supporting residents and their families
