At Compass UK & Ireland, we're seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Chef to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our culinary team, you'll be responsible for preparing and serving exceptional food experiences for our clients in the Healthcare sector.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with us in creating innovative menus and improving our food services. You'll have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge while working with a talented team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing delicious, high-quality food that meets the expectations of our clients and customers
  • Overseeing and implementing menu changes to ensure consistency and quality
  • Identifying opportunities to improve our food services and contributing to their development
  • Listening to customer feedback and using it to make improvements
  • Supporting the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
  • Representing Compass UK & Ireland and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Monitoring inventories to maintain well-stocked kitchens
  • Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
Requirements
  • A City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent qualification
  • Experience supervising a team and managing kitchen operations
  • A flexible approach to working and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a generous package, you'll also receive opportunities for learning and development, as well as a chance to work with a leading food service company in the UK.
