We are currently seeking a Post 16 Guidance Officer to join our NEET Prevention Team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in careers guidance and employability, with experience of working with vulnerable young people.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a well-established organisation based in Wokingham, providing careers guidance and support to young people aged 16-17 and up to 24 for those with SEND.

You will work closely with local opportunity providers and support services to better advise and support young people into employment, education, or training. This role requires you to be able to establish good working relationships with stakeholders and to track the progress of young people through regular contact.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of GCSE English and Maths Grade 4 (previously Grade C) or equivalent.
  • A Level 6 qualification in Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) or a Level 4 IAG qualification with the willingness to undertake a Level 6 IAG Apprenticeship.
  • Significant experience of working with young people, committed to providing excellent guidance and support.
