Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adults Learning Disability Support Worker to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic care and support to adults with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to adults with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams
  • Support adults with learning disabilities to engage in community activities, promoting social inclusion and participation
  • Monitor and record patient conditions, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months experience of working within a social care setting
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
  • PBM/TMVA certificate (training provided)
