Job Description:
We are seeking multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C&E) to join our team in Crawley. The role involves securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units. Responsibilities include handling runs, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork. Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck. Interaction with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner is also essential.
Requirements:
* Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E)
* Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card
* No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only)
* Full understanding of WTD legislation
* Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position
* Excellent communication skills
* A safety-first mindset
