Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our professional and dedicated team as a Residential Childcare Practitioner. You will work with children aged 7 to 17 who have Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD) in a new home designed to provide them with the support they need to thrive.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care, developing strong relationships, and implementing effective care plans. You will work closely with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children in your care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide individualised care and support to children with complex needs.
  2. Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  3. Contribute to the design and implementation of effective care plans.
  4. Collaborate with other professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  5. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong commitment to supporting vulnerable children, and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

An NVQ Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent is essential, as well as a minimum of one year's experience in a childcare setting. A valid UK driving licence is also required.
