Job Description:

As a Cleaning Assistant at Antrim Area Hospital, you will be responsible for providing a high level of cleanliness and infection control in various hospital departments. This includes cleaning equipment, floors, and surfaces, as well as disposing of waste and restocking supplies. You will also be required to maintain confidentiality and respect patients' personal space.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 months' experience in cleaning or a related field. Previous experience is beneficial but not essential. You will be required to undergo an enhanced AccessNI check and be willing to work seasonal holidays. Training will be provided prior to commencing the role.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £11.45 (Monday-Friday), £16.14 (Saturday), and £20.95 (Sunday). A range of shift patterns are available, including Rapid Response Rotational, which requires flexibility.

A comprehensive benefits package is offered, including overtime opportunities, free training, a minimum of 28 days paid holidays (pro-rata), and inclusion into our company pension scheme.
