We are seeking a skilled Financial Planning Specialist to join our team at Unipart Rail in Doncaster.

With an annual turnover of over £800 million, we offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, along with a range of benefits.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Commercial Finance function in delivering financial planning, costing, pricing, and financial reporting. Key tasks include:

  • Preparing bids within agreed deadlines and monitoring gross margin information
  • Assisting in regular forecasting, budgeting, and reporting on sales, cost of sales, and gross margin
  • Acting as a financial interface to the Bid Management team and Procurement to support bid delivery
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree qualification or equivalent experience
  • Recently qualified or working towards a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in Excel and distributed products, manufacturing, and BI analysis
  • An ability to influence senior budget holders and drive the right performance and behaviours
  • Commercial finance responsibility and high-level confidentiality
