About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Shop Floor Scheduler to join our team at Safran Landing Systems in Gloucester. As a key member of our Out of Production Spares team, you will be responsible for generating and managing detailed schedules in respect with the Master Production Schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in MPS meetings and work with various departments to reflect detail in the ERP system
  • Run and maintain Load and Capacity reports and analysis for production leaders to identify capacity issues and allocate priorities
  • Review work order scheduling messages against MRP recommendations and integrate the impact of Non-quality and FAI's into order schedules

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Production planning fundamentals (MRP2 principles, e.g. APICS)
  • Knowledge of problem solving and continuous improvement tools (LEAN)
  • Familiarity with ERP usage and working knowledge of Production process flows
  • Leadership, team-working, results-oriented, communication skills, decision-making, self-motivated, interpersonal skills and adaptability
