Safran Landing Systems, a world leader in aircraft landing and braking systems, seeks a skilled Master Production Scheduler to join their team. As a key member of the OE Assembly team, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of the company's manufacturing operations.


About the Role


As the Master Production Scheduler, you will be responsible for establishing and managing the short-term MPS1 plan for the shop floor and in the SAP system. This involves working closely with various departments to create an MPS1 plan that supports customer needs while considering assembly shop limitations, load and capacity analysis, and part shortages.


Key Responsibilities


Establish detailed Assembly / Pulse line Plan to meet the MPS over a rolling 1-2 month period, to be published on a regular basis


Reflect the schedule within SAP ERP on a weekly basis


Revised when necessary to take into account unforeseen changes


Attend ELOB reviews to ascertain risks to plan (optional)


Maintain works order scheduling in SAP (arrears, exception messages etc)


Maintain Production Plan Root Cause file;


Identify and capture weekly route causes


Perform pareto analysis on monthly basis.


Maintain MPS Rolling file


Chair the Weekly MPS meeting


Participate in and prepare Monthly Production Plan reviews


Engage with Assembly Execution Planner on a daily basis


Engage with Program Planner on a regular basis


CatB conversion process – Weekly


Become focal point for Single Aisle PPM (Assembly deliveries) & Single Aisle Assembly Mgr


Support daily QRQC meetings


Engage with Production Team leaders and Management


Support Assembly execution team during busy periods
