We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team in Wolverhampton. This role will be responsible for coordinating health and safety across the site, including preparing daily reports, ensuring compliance with UK HSE regulations, and coordinating safety training activities.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and implement updates in safety regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.
- Provide technical safety and health support to employees to ensure a safe working environment.
- Coordinate and analyze risk assessments, near misses, and accident data to present to senior management.
- Lead health and safety meetings, present data, and maintain progress on actions.
- Identify and develop company health and safety management systems, training programs, and procedures.
- Conduct health and safety inductions for employees, agency employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Conduct internal audits, workplace inspections, and work with auditors and vendors to address findings and complaints.
- Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards.
- NEBOSH General certificate or IEMA certification is advantageous.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role is beneficial.
- Health and safety experience or exposure to health and safety in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Current First Aid/CPR First Responder Training is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications.
