Project Chemist

We are seeking an industrially experienced and motivated Coating Chemist to join our R&D team at Pulpex Ltd.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and formulate high-performance coatings to deliver enhanced performance and sustainability in packaging.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to characterise coating properties and optimise formulations for deployment onto Pulpex Packaging.
- Work with the barrier chemistry team to develop and optimise new coating formulations for specific performance criteria.
- Research and identify new methods to support critical research areas in coatings development.
- Master's Degree in a relevant scientific discipline (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science).
- Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience working in an industrial setting.
- Experience in packaging industry is an advantage.
- Good understanding of polymer chemistry, surface chemistry, and coatings formulation principles.
- Proficient in use and interpretation of analytical methods for chemical characterisations.
