Commercial Manager for Civil Engineering Projects

A role has become available with a respected practice operating in Kent and Sussex. Intersect Global Ltd offers career development and support for Chartered Status and Project Management level training. This is a hybrid working role with 2-3 days per week expected in the office or on-site.
The RoleReporting to the Commercial Director, the Commercial Manager will work on a reservoir project from inception to completion.
- Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with budget and cashflow management of circa £35M per annum.
- Analysing data to produce accurate cost reports.
- Understanding contractor's works planning and resource deployment methods to identify and correct inefficiencies.
- Carrying out defined cost audit work.
- Management of contractors' supply chains and procurement.
Experience Required:
- Suitable applicants will be educated to BSc Quantity Surveying with relevant experience working on civil engineering, infrastructure or utility schemes.
- A good understanding of NEC / ECC contracts is essential.
- A proven track record in driving commercial efficiencies.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to build and nurture lasting relationships with stakeholders.
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
