Construction Project Financial Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our projects, including cost estimation, procurement, and contract negotiation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cost management strategies to ensure project financial targets are met.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate commercial risks.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to secure the best possible deals.
- Monitor and manage project cash flows and budgets to ensure financial stability.
- Ensure compliance with relevant construction regulations and legislation.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project targets are met.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in cost management software and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is preferred.
- Full UK driving license.
