About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Wienerberger België. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electro-mechanical plant equipment and machinery
  • Operate a preventative electrical maintenance system to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance
  • Identify and rectify electrical faults and issues
  • Program and configure Siemens and other programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
  • Use various testing equipment to locate and remedy electrical faults
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of safe systems of work (SSOW) documentation
  • Adhere to Wienerberger's quality system and standards in accordance with BSEN ISO 9001
About You

We are looking for an electrically biased engineer with experience working in a manufacturing or factory environment. You will have a minimum level 3 qualification in an Electrical Engineering discipline and a strong commitment to safe working practices.

You will be a team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will also have a good working knowledge of environment, health, and safety (EHS) processes and analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desirable qualifications include 17th/18th edition certification, experience programming PLCs, completion of a hands-on apprentice training program, HNC or HND qualification, or experience in heavy industry manufacturing.
