About the Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer at Wienerberger, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment and machinery. This involves troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues, as well as performing planned preventative maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
• Install and maintain electrical and electro-mechanical plant equipment and machinery
• Operate a preventative electrical maintenance system
• Find and repair faults in electrical systems
• Program Siemens and other programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
• Use various types of testing equipment to locate and remedy faults
• Promote Lean thinking and contribute to safe systems of work (SSOW) documentation

About You
We are looking for an electrically biased engineer with experience of working in a manufacturing or factory environment, holding a minimum Level 3 qualification in an Electrical Engineering discipline. You will be committed to safe working and have strong experience of health and safety best practice. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as well as strong team playing skills. Analytical and problem-solving skills, diagnostics experience of electrical motors and pneumatics, and experience working with control cabinets and wiring of PLCs are also required.
