Job Title: Director of HR and Learning

Praxis Care, a leading charity and service provider in Northern Ireland, is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of HR and Learning to join their senior leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and transforming the HR and Learning function, developing and delivering clear and measurable strategies, and managing a team of HR professionals.

About the Role

The Director of HR and Learning will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing HR and Learning strategies that support the delivery of key organisational performance metrics
  • Leading and managing a team of HR professionals to deliver high-quality HR services
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on HR and Learning matters to senior leaders and the Board
  • Managing budgets and resources to ensure effective use of HR and Learning spend
  • Collaborating with other senior leaders to develop and implement organisational change initiatives

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • A CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent
  • At least 4 years' experience at senior management level, with a strong track record of leading and managing HR and Learning functions
  • Experience of developing and implementing HR and Learning strategies that support organisational performance
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of HR professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior leaders, the Board, and other stakeholders
