Street Lighting Supervisor ITS

Colas Ltd is seeking an experienced Street Lighting Supervisor ITS to join our team in Peacehaven. As a key member of our ITS team, you will be responsible for scheduling, compiling, and coordinating support services to facilitate the timely and efficient installation of street lighting products.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the ITS Contract Manager in decision-making by communicating administrative, technical, and on-site considerations effectively.
- Liaise with the ITS Contract Manager to provide and recover site information for efficient and timely completion of ordered work and monthly invoicing.
- Monitor and maintain a programme of street lighting maintenance and installation works in collaboration with other ITS Street Lighting Supervisors.
- Ensure all street lighting equipment is registered in accordance with LOLER & PUWER regulations and is made available for periodic inspection.
- Occasionally undertake site surveys, actively participate in internal and external audits, and travel between locations.
- Monitor and report monthly on the Brighton and Hove contract's KPIs.
- Prepare and conduct team members' annual personal performance appraisals in line with our BU BPIs and company CPIs.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in local authority street lighting maintenance.
- Experience with street lighting installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Detailed understanding and knowledge of street lighting site installations and associated street furniture.
- Ability to prioritize own and team activities via consultation with the line manager and programme.
- Ability to effectively influence 1st line management.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- Comfortable working outdoors and able to travel to sites within the southeast.
Package Description:
- A salary between £42,000 and £52,000 (dependent on experience).
