About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled General Practitioner to join our team at NEXUS MK PCN in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our Primary Care Network, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our network.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Provide face-to-face and telephone consultations to patients, conducting thorough assessments and developing effective treatment plans.
  2. Visit patients in their homes and nursing homes, providing personalized care and support.
  3. Check and sign repeat prescriptions, ensuring accurate and timely medication management.
  4. Manage administrative tasks, including responding to queries, processing patient test results, and handling referral letters.
  5. Cover clinical management of patients in surgery, including initiating investigations, reviewing results, and making referrals to secondary care or other providers.
  6. Develop care and treatment plans in consultation with patients, aligned with current Practice disease management protocols and NICE guidelines.
Requirements
  • Newly qualified GP (within two years) with full GMC registration and a license to practice.
  • Experience of working in a GP training practice using SystmOne.
