About Adjusting Appointments Limited:

We are seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster to join our General Property team. As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for managing property claims ranging from minor damage to major and catastrophic events. You will be assigned your own region and mixed claims portfolio, working from a home base with regular regional travel required throughout North London and surrounding counties.

The ideal candidate will have previous loss adjusting experience dealing with either domestic or commercial losses. You must be able to work from a home base and be self-motivated, adhering to SLA's and KPI's throughout the life of each claim. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, with progression towards professional qualifications such as CertCILA, DipCILA, ACII or ACILA being beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage property claims ranging from minor damage to major and catastrophic events.
  • Assign and manage a mixed claims portfolio.
  • Work from a home base with regular regional travel required.
  • Support valued clients in proactively handling and settling property claims.

Requirements:

  • Previous loss adjusting experience dealing with either domestic or commercial losses.
  • Ability to work from a home base and be self-motivated.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
