Leading Environmental Policy Work: A Career Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Policy Specialist to contribute to our environmental policy practice. Our team works extensively with UK Government departments, European Commission, NGOs, and industry associations, tackling crucial policy issues across biodiversity, natural capital, conservation, green economy, environmental governance, agriculture, and food safety.

Our work involves economic analysis and evaluation of public policies, providing robust evidence and strategic support. Key projects include developing the Environmental Land Management scheme, researching marine protected areas, and assessing the economic benefits of blue growth policies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct policy and economic research and analysis
  • Prepare descriptive and analytical reports
  • Contribute to project management and task execution
  • Support business development through compelling proposals
  • Pursue new opportunities and build partnerships

Requirements:

  • Degree, Master's degree, or PhD in relevant discipline
  • Strong interest and experience in environmental policy
  • Excellent analytical, qualitative, and quantitative skills
  • Skills in economic analysis, appraisal, impact assessment, and environmental economics
  • Understanding of UK and EU policy-making processes
  • At least 5 years of experience in UK or EU public policy
  • Business development experience and advanced computer skills
  • Exceptional writing and oral communication skills
  • Fluency in multiple languages an advantage
