About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domiciliary Care Assistant to join our team at Richmond Village in Witney, Oxfordshire. As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents who live in our serviced apartments on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with personal care duties, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support at mealtimes, ensuring residents' nutritional needs are met
  • Help promote mental and physical activity of residents through hobbies, interests, or activities within the village
  • Answer emergency calls on site when the care alert system is activated
  • Work with the Domiciliary Care Manager and other external professionals, such as GPs, Chiropodists, Occupational Therapists, and Physiotherapists, as needed
Requirements

We are looking for an individual with a passion for caring for others, respecting people's choices, and prioritizing their safety and welfare. Ideally, you will have experience working in a care or dementia setting, or hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). However, full training will be provided.
