Somerset Wildlife Trust is seeking a highly skilled Governance and Business Administrator to join their People, Culture & Resources Team.

This is a key position within the Trust, requiring strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage governance and business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive governance support, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes for board and committee meetings.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Trustees, external contacts, and other stakeholders.
  • Implement techniques and processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Support the CEO, Directors, Chair, and Trustees with logistical and administrative tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records, including governance archives and live files at Companies House.
Requirements
  • Strong governance and administrative skills, with experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
