TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Personal Tax Senior to join their team of experienced accountants. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to take on a challenging role in a leading regional practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of self-assessment tax clients, including personal tax clients and partnerships, to ensure timely and accurate tax compliance.
- Provide advisory services relating to Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, and Estate planning to clients, utilizing expertise in tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare various tax forms, including P11ds, PSA, ATEDs, and elections, for clients as required, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and HMRC through email, phone, and in writing, maintaining excellent relationships and resolving any issues promptly.
- Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
- Meet with potential new clients and assist with client onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition and excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- AAT or ATT qualified or qualified by experience, with at least 3 years of experience working within an accountancy practice environment or personal tax position.
- Experience of preparing tax returns for Manager or Partner review and proficiency in relevant tax computation software.
