Tax Senior Professional

TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior to join a prestigious firm of chartered accountants. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a personal tax focused position, supporting the Tax Manager with compliance tax matters and contributing to advisory work across Capital Gains Tax, and Inheritance Tax planning.
This role offers a fantastic chance to be part of a leading regional practice, with a strong focus on personal tax services. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of self-assessment tax clients, including personal tax clients and partnerships.
- Manage a portfolio of self-assessment tax clients, including personal tax clients and partnerships.
- Provide advisory services relating to Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, and Estate planning.
- Prepare various tax forms, including P11ds, PSA, ATEDs, and elections for clients as required.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and HMRC through various channels.
- Supervise and mentor junior tax staff.
- Meet with potential new clients and assist with client onboarding.
Requirements
- AAT or ATT qualified, or qualified by experience, with at least 3 years of experience working in an accountancy practice environment or personal tax position.
- Experience of preparing tax returns for Manager or Partner review and relevant tax computation software.
