Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of self-assessment tax clients, including personal tax clients and partnerships, to ensure timely and accurate tax compliance.
- Provide expert advisory services on Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, and Estate planning to clients, leveraging your knowledge and experience to deliver exceptional results.
- Prepare various tax forms, including P11ds, PSA, ATEDs, and elections, to meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and HMRC through various channels, ensuring seamless collaboration and issue resolution.
- Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and expertise.
- Meet with potential new clients and assist with client onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition and excellent customer experience.
- AAT or ATT qualification, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3 years of experience working in an accountancy practice environment or personal tax position.
- Proven experience in preparing tax returns for Manager or Partner review, as well as proficiency in relevant tax computation software.
- A highly competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000, negotiable based on experience and background.
