Exciting Opportunity at AJ Bell - Financial Management and Reporting Accountant

Award-winning business AJ Bell is seeking a skilled Financial Management and Reporting Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This role involves providing key management information and analysis, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial reports and management information
  • Create accounting adjustments and reconciliations
  • Maintain fixed assets and inventory records
  • Develop financial models and forecasts
  • Reconcile balance sheets and general ledgers
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in implementing financial controls and processes
  • Support ad hoc financial projects and initiatives

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified accountant with experience in financial reporting and analysis
  • Experience in financial reporting for large companies and organizations
  • Understanding of financial regulations and frameworks, including IFRS
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to interpret financial data
  • Organized and able to work to deadlines, with attention to detail
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel
