Strategic Technology Architect

At MUFG Americas, we're seeking a skilled Strategic Technology Architect to join our team. As a key member of our technology leadership, you'll play a critical role in shaping the strategic architecture across our Bank EMEA and International Securities business.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and maintenance of architectural assets to support decision-making and requests for information, including those from regulators.
  • Conduct technical reviews of project designs, BAU changes, and other initiatives that impact the technology architecture.
  • Collaborate with the Technology Senior Management Team to develop the technology strategy, tracking progress and providing regular status updates.

Risk & Compliance

  1. Ensure all activities comply with relevant policies, procedures, and controls.
  2. Adhere to change management and privileged production access management processes.
  3. Promote a dynamic, delivery-driven culture that works alongside business units to provide responsive resolutions and value-driven solutions.
  4. Establish strong relationships across the organization, fostering a peer network.

Requirements

  • Experience providing architectural solutions in a multi-entity, multi-regional financial services organization.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based solutions (Microsoft Azure, AWS, etc.) and ability to review and challenge them.
  • Understanding of software development practices and project delivery lifecycles.
