  • Technology Trends and Supplier: Analyze emerging technology trends and market developments to identify opportunities and risks, and work with suppliers to build strategic partnerships.
  • Technology Governance: Manage and enhance our technology governance capabilities to ensure that our systems and solutions are aligned with our business objectives and minimize risk.
  • Technology Selection: Lead the analysis of strategic technology solution options, identifying associated costs and risks, and conducting gap analysis and proof of concepts.
  • Architecture Artefacts: Define and deliver high-quality architectural artefacts that clearly explain our enterprise architecture and governance.
  • Stakeholders: Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, adapting your style to achieve required interaction and investment.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate across disciplines to align architecture principles, processes, and frameworks that reduce risk and deliver shareholder value.
  • Treating Customers Fairly: Ensure that our systems and processes support our customers fairly, in line with our Customer Experience and Treating Customers Fairly policy.

Requirements

  • TOGAF or similar certification is desirable.
  • A related degree or demonstrable equivalent experience is desirable.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture, IT roadmap design, and IT governance is essential.
  • Strategic thinking, ability to develop and project a positive image of the IT function, and excellent stakeholder management skills are required.
