Job Title: Sales Director MICE

AccorHotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Director MICE to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our MICE sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and motivate the MICE sales team to achieve sales targets and budget.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and expand existing business.
  • Work closely with the Senior Commercial Team to develop and implement sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of company sales and marketing plans to ensure they accurately interpret and support the objectives of the business.
  • Lead special projects and ensure their successful completion.
  • Manage a select portfolio of accounts and conduct sales trips and attend trade shows.
  • Assist with the recruitment process for MICE sales team members and ensure effective induction, training, and development.
  • Review performance regularly and recognize and celebrate success.
  • Contribute to relevant management meetings to develop and implement sales initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role with a track record of success.
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends.
  • Excellent selling capabilities and the ability to coach selling techniques.
  • Fluency in English written and spoken is a must.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a senior MICE sales position.
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of Local European & International MICE Markets & Sectors.
  • Third level qualification in a relevant field.
  • Passion for sales and achieving targets and objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of Opera & Delphi FDC.
