Job Title: SEN Early Years Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and supportive Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Good Ofsted rated SEN School in BH15, Dorset. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students, particularly in the Early Years and KS1 departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities to students in the Early Years and KS1 departments.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of learning resources and materials.
  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, including those with autism.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young people, particularly in a school setting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and other staff members.
  • Patience, understanding, and a willingness to develop your skills and knowledge.
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable but not essential).

Working Hours and Location:

Working hours are 9.00am - 15.30pm, and the location is BH15, Dorset. This is a full-time position, and the minimum rate of pay is GBP13.09 per hour.
