Job Title: SEN Early Years Teaching Assistant

We are working with a Good Ofsted rated SEN School in BH15, Dorset, to recruit an Early Years / KS1 Teaching Assistant.

The ideal candidate will be supportive, non-judgemental, patient, easy to talk to, positive and flexible. You must be able to communicate effectively with pupils, encouraging and supporting them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities
  • Assist pupils with their learning, providing individualized support as needed
  • Encourage pupils to participate in class discussions and activities
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability
